RESTLESS WITH TACAIDS IN PREPARING FOR WORLD'S AIDS DAY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF DODOMA..
Restless Volunteers, Dodoma Volunteers Network, in collaboration with our Partners TACAIDS during the seminar presentation on preparation for the World AIDS' Day on 1st December .
Seminar was conducted at the University of Dodoma, School of Humanities.
Volunteers were trained on how they can convince & recruit many people for the HIV/AIDS Test, Volunteers were also taught a lot of issues concerning HIV/AIDS.. including: Meaning of HIV/AIDS, how HIV/AIDS is spread, its symptoms, Stages of HIV/AIDS, Misconception Vs reality of HIV and AIDS, HIV testing and the importance of testing HIV, Tips to make you health if you are HIV positive and How to Prevent oneself from being infected.
The seminar was arranged by DR. NASSARI, N.O (District AIDS control Coordinator-DACC), LEONARD MGENI (Municipal AIDS control Coordinator) and CATHERINE MUNGURE (Health Promotion Strengthening System-HPSS) together with RESTLESS DEVELOPMENT DODOMA VOLUNTEERS NETWORK.
